From 2003-2007, I photographed local public parks throughout the United States. The park is accessible to everyone, an exciting "in-between" space that is both perfect for private family parties and still wide open for larger public events. Alongside little league games and the carved picnic benches documenting fleeting love affairs, the camera provides a never-ending excuse to meet new people and explore new terrain.
